Not to defend the Orange Court Farter, but I don't think that many billionaires will have that kind of money hanging around unused somewhere on a bank account.
This always annoys me a bit with these people.

Take like, Musk, for example. He is worth some X hundreds of billion dollars.

But it's all in like, Tesla and SpaceX investment.

Tesla and SpaceX have some sort of valuation level.

So who's money is it?

Is Tesla worth X hundreds of billions of dollars or is Elon? Because it feels like it really can't be both.

Yes. Someone like Musk owns a lot of stocks which he can use as collateral or sell on short notice but even he would have trouble getting that much cash because of trading regulations. Whatever Trump actually has is primarily real estate that is already mortgaged and takes time to sell.

I kind of wonder if this is part of why he is so determined to get that bonus from Tesla. To cover his Twitter debts. Who knows what kind of deals he made with people like Saudi Arabian for that money.
