Yes, I did.
Only if Cris donates a substantial amount to archive.org.

(In other words, the internet doesn't quite work the way you want it to.)
I can understand that. We don't want the forum turning into an image storage place.
But here's the thing: I submitted an image in a post. I quickly realised it was misleading and I needed to change it. I went to the source (to which the link pointed) and edited it. But the image in the post remained unchanged. And it still is. No amount of refreshing made a difference. In the end I deleted it and replaced with the right version of the image. Am I going mad? In a coma? Is it to do with the cache or something?

I don't know all what was involved in the "editing" but yeah, sounds as if your browser's cache was holding onto/displaying the original image in the url, not recognizing something was new about it until you deleted/replaced the image.

Anyhow, random image time!

I went to get my blood drawn for tests yesterday, and the phlebotomist was being particularly explainy and I basically said "This isn't my first rodeo. Though I'm not sure what rodeos have to do with it..."

Speaking of rodeos, this was where they were going to have the big banquet for JFK when he got to Austin after Dallas...

Here's the cheap version: just attach a power strip to the back of the drawer, there's almost always enough room to run the cable over the top.

To make a long story short, though, you really don't want to charge electronic devices in a drawer in your kitchen.

Even if you're 100% sure a spill will never leak into it.

I wouldn't set up something like this in the kitchen, anyway. And not just because I only have one drawer now, and it's busy holding my silverware!

This is a radio image of a very very young (~1m years) newly-formed star called HL Tauri, and its accretion disk. The dark gaps in the disk show you where embryo planets are beginning to clear their orbits of debris. :)
