Back in the 90's I was in a hall filled with engineers using networked workstations. And their team lead set up a cron job that fired off at 5pm every day.
We'll give ample warning when it's next up on the party playlist.Causing all the workstations up and down the hall to blasted that song, at -almost- the same time, adding an atrociously chaotic reverb. Oh how I don't miss it.
I'll teach you to be happy! I'll teach your grandmother to use crontab!Back in the 90's I was in a hall filled with engineers using networked workstations. And their team lead set up a cron job that fired off at 5pm every day.

The little 'nix nerds of nature, they don't know that they're annoying. That's funny, a ferret marrying a catgirl. I told you I'd crontab but you didn't believe me...WHY DIDN'T YOU BELIEVE ME! Happy Happy Joy Joy Joy!Causing all the workstations up and down the hall to blasted that song, at -almost- the same time, adding an atrociously chaotic reverb. Oh how I don't miss it.
I think I may have found a new favorite band! Thank you, Free.I know the one I'll be playing over and over (I might start collecting a host of covers for it), but I've decided we could also do with a playlist. To begin organizing a very long party mixtape for That Special Day. So, to start things off.
I particularly want Ron Mael to be, somehow, involved so he can roll his eyes extravagantly.
