This post is for random non youtubeness. I ran across this site called Cloudinary. They will give you the url for the picture and the embed code for video. That is handy for me when for instance, I'd rather not post on youtube. Sometimes I want to post a video on some page of mine and don't want to host it. Cloudinary is free for one user, no cc needed or anything personal except a working email address. It is a bit hard to learn how to use. I don't want to use 99% of their features including their entire api which made finding what I wanted harder. I can't embed a video here on vvo since vvo doesn't know what embed code to use. Here is a sample for a page I made.

Yes, everything on their channel is. But it is serious enough and hokey enough to be real until you look closer. I love the ones with UFOs as they have visible wires they are hanging from!

So, as we were sitting around our morning caffeine intake, we were discussing oddball film facts and my housemate starts blabbering about Solarbabies (the roller blade across the sand film) which triggered a memory of rollerblades and using payphones with acoustic couplers (turns out it was Hackers) which in turn makes her think of this space alien movie. As she's describing it to me, I have no clue what she's on about as I've not heard of such a film with PIa Zadora as the main big name in it. Turns out it is called Voyage of the Rock Aliens and has Peter Cullen and Jermaine Jackson in it. Poor Peter.
