It's actually one of the longest suspension bridges in the world and the tunnels on both sides make it look like someone dropped a bridge in the middle of nowhere and forgot to build the roads leading to it.

I've never understood the urge to create "real life" versions of animated films and shows. They're animated for a reason and making that transition in order to "make the source material more available for a larger audience" usually just means dumbing it down for people that couldn't be bothered to watch the original in the first place. It's typical corporate malfeasance.
