Has anyone been watching this? Spoiler, it’s not about wolves.
What is it about? Well I I binged the first 4 episodes the on Friday night then caught up yesterday and I still don’t really know what I’m watching so I was hoping someone here could explain it to me

It’s an addictive sci fi mind fuck and I can’t stop.

The boring parts are beautiful, the action parts are heartbreaking, the dialogue makes me alternate between uncomfortable and weeping. I’m a wreck.

HBO Max’s ‘Raised By Wolves’ Is Some Of The Best Sci-Fi On TV

While it’s easy to sing the praises of shows like Netflix’s Stranger Things or Amazon Prime’s The Expanse, there’s a new show that I want to make sure isn’t left out of the conversation, Raised by Wolves.

I cannot speak highly enough about the performances given here from Mother and Father actors Amanda Collin and Abubakar Salim, who are stellar as androids struggling with the weight of their altered programming and new parenting responsibilities. Collin in particular might be giving the best performance of an actor playing an android I’ve…ever seen, across Blade Runner, across Ex Machina.

Not seen it but the amount of actors who have portrayed androids is rather long.

Amanda Collin does a remarkable job, I won’t minimize her acting or disagree with the article, but the writing is so profound that her delivery seals it as much as makes it. Like many good sci-fi stories, Raised By Wolves is a biting and uncomfortable social commentary disguised as entertainment.
