That would be pretty consistent with the story Aliens was based on. In "The Voyage of the Space Beagle" they discover the Ixtl just floating by itself in deep space.

His manager Sandy Joseph confirmed that he died Tuesday in Vermont. He was 88.

I'm glad they didn't go with a sort of epilogue for the end and just finished off with them heading back home.

It's also a decent fairy tale ending, in that everyone who made decisions that "doomed" Elodie ended up dead. Even her father, who was sort of redeemed, was taken out.

And now, because Robin Wright played the queen, I can't stop thinking of the title The Evil Princess Bride...

This Damsel movie sounds interesting and also kind of similar to The Princess.

Though I think The Princess was a victim to the whole "Lets delete movies for Tax Reasons" nonsense.

Apparently The Princess is streaming on pay sites. Damsel is less hard action movie (although it has good action sequences) and has more effort in the acting and story.

I'm not sure one could describe the first series as ending so much as piddling out until it got cancelled. I don't blame anyone for issues that cropped up in season 2 - a writers strike hit at that time, and the season was truncated due to that. But then the show never righted itself and didn't carry though on anything effectively. Mostly.

Reborn is not worth talking about. They said it was always meant as a mini-series, not a reboot of the show, but yeah whatever. I was tricked into watching (some) of it by the trailer. Grr...
