Birds of a feather....Prince Andrew hosted Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and Harvey Weinstein at Royal Lodge, the prince's private home in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The trio visited the Windsor mansion as part of his daughter Beatrice's masked ball 18th birthday celebrations in 2006, two months after a US arrest warrant had been issued for Epstein for the sexual assault of a minor.

No plans to remove Andrew from line of succession after losing royal titles, government says
Andrew remains eighth in line to the throne and it would take an act of Parliament to formally remove him.www.bbc.co.uk
Even if all the accusations of sexual abuse were bogus, Andrew still has a history of a most distasteful exploitation of his title and royal position. He's milked money out of some fairly unsavory sources, trading influence for wealth. I find that, in some ways, even more astonishing. At his level, that's close to traitorous behavior, putting his own mendacious interests ahead of his entire country, when he has already been born into one of the most privileged families on the planet.![]()

This, by Nick Cohen, and this longer piece in the New Statesman (Evernote links because £walls) give an idea of what Andrew Lownie's astonishing book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York has to say about his and Sarah Ferguson's enthusiasm to do just about anything in return for money and favours.Even if all the accusations of sexual abuse were bogus, Andrew still has a history of a most distasteful exploitation of his title and royal position. What a relief that Andrew wasn't born first, eh? Although I suppose one could argue that being second in line to the throne is part of what molded him into such an obnoxious person; prestige without authority and the weight of responsibility. Although Prince Edward seems to have navigated that position much better. Of course, he wasn't Mommy's favorite, which I'm sure also had its part in making Andrew what he is.![]()
Andrew fixed palace visit for firm with £1.4m deal with ex-wife
A company paying Sarah Ferguson was given a private tour of Buckingham Palace while the late Queen was in residence, BBC can reveal.www.bbc.com
A British university complied with a demand from Beijing to halt research about human rights abuses in China, leading to a major project being dropped, the Guardian can reveal.
In February, Sheffield Hallam University, home to the Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice (HKC), a leading research institution focused on human rights, ordered one of its best-known professors, Laura Murphy, to cease research on supply chains and forced labour in China.
Morgoth and some orcs
Innula, why haven't you mentioned all the raping going on in small English villages, obviously due to immigrants taking advantage of their Hobbit-ish naivete?
Jonn Elledge makes a similar pointWhat a relief that Andrew wasn't born first, eh? 1. On October 17, the disgraced but not yet fully humiliated Prince Andrew said he would cease to style himself as Duke of York (it would take parliament to officially strip him of the title because Britain is stupid). So often has this particular peerage been associated with calamity and scandal, that that most socially valuable subspecies of scholars, the “royal expert”, have sometimes suggested the title is cursed.
2. A less supernatural explanation may be that the title is often given to the monarch’s second son.
Australia is feeling lots of more pressure from China, and not in a good way. Australia is selling lots of minerals and others ressources to China, and China sent lots of students to Australia.
