Are you passionate about helping others and making Second Life a safer, more enjoyable place for everyone?

If people want to do that, they're better off applying for the new Mentors team, or becoming a Volunteer at NCI or Caledon Oxbridge.

What We Do:
Patrol Sims: We actively patrol various sims to provide help and support to residents.
Combat Griefers: We address disruptive behaviors, such as spamming and harassment, to maintain a peaceful environment.
Approachability:
If you see us patrolling your sim, do not hesitate to approach us if you need help. We are here to assist all residents, not just to deal with griefers.

But if you aren't an Estate Manager or have Parcel eject/ban powers....how can you combat griefers? And why patrol regions that you have exactly ZERO authority in. Actual Estate Owners tend to have teams of EM's and so forth. People they know and trust. You Green Lanterns in SL are just a bunch of comic book fans who want to feel a little too important for your own good.

The people with actual authority over land, don't need you. Your "combatting griefer" services are useless, because you can't actually do it any more than any other resident can with the tools LL provides.

I do hope you've got permission from DC Comic and their parent company Warner Bros. to use their trademarks.

There's a bit in the Second Life TOS about it: "You should not use copyrighted, trademarked, or celebrity material in Second Life "

Hopefully Linden Lab don't find out what you're doing! Keep your heads low and don't attract attention to yourselves and I'm sure you'll be fine.

Linden Lab (no 's', you've been here 12 years -why don't you know better?) doesn't own the IP, trademarks or distinctive likenesses of DC Comic's properties ('green lantern', 'hal jordan', 'green lantern corp', etc). They're not who matters.

Now why don't you be a good kid and address CCC's points regarding the limits of your groups abilities, hmmm? hmmm?
