On the 24th I made roast chikin dinner to celebrate the last birthday of our emperor.. who resigns and hands over the reins to the crown prince next year.. and so fucks up any sort of Christmas spirit that his 24th December bday brought us..
but anyway..
So there we were.. peeling potatoes so i could make roast potatoes.. (which turned out gorgeously) and yure turns to me and says,
yure: Its Christmas Eve, right?
eku: Yes
yure: Why is it always Eve and never Adam?
eku: choke.. snort.. hahahahahahaha .. erm Eve means the evening before like in New Years Eve etc.
yure: Right. (I love this man.. taking absolutely no offence at my hysterical response)
eku: Anyway, happy Adam sweetie...
but anyway..
