A Christmas Carol is my favourite part of Christmas, reading the story, seeing the movies, enjoying the comradery of the spirits. We saw it performed at Alabama Shakespeare Festival this past Sunday and they dumped snow all over us during the great storm that follows Scrooge seeing his name on the tombstone oops spoiler alert too late so sad. I just love it.

Scrooged is well worth watching. It serves as a good Christmas in July movie along with Die Hard and Home Alone. We finally watched the George C. Scott version which is not bad but not as good as Scrooged, Muppets, or my personal favourite, the Alastair Sim adaptation.
