Coming on April 11. I know little about the game, but I think this series may be right down my alley.

I am familiar with Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Both of these games had a quirky sense of humor which the trailer shows none so judging by the trailer I am not impressed.

They even did two live action based trailers for 4 and 76, which probably convinced Bethesda that they could do a show.

I'll save my comments for the first two of Cronocloud's trailers for Fallout 3 since I have played that a lot. The first begins with a stereotypical b/w 50s family. They go into some detail about the wonders of living in a vault. The second shows an old tube radio playing a flickering love song that goes on for a minute and a half to set things up. The trailer for the Amazon series plays an old song briefly before shooting things up. I don't have high hopes that it is going to be any more than one big shoot em up with no interesting dialog but will be watching the reviews.

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are in my top 10 favorite games so I decided to write this stuff.

Just finished the first episode, sang along as best I could to the episode ending song: “crawl out through the fallout“. Paused because I need to eat and take some meds.

I figured out the plot twist early, I was suspicious the moment I saw the 32ers, they were not clean cut enough. I was certain at the dinner scene got a better look at them. and one stabbed food on a 33ers plate with a knife. I would have immediately gone into VATS mode in a game, which would immediately identify them as fake vault dwellers.

Just finished the first episode

I'm stopping there for now. I'm a bit confused by some of the stuff going on, which I assume will be made clearer in later episodes.

I watched episode one. Sometimes the first episode is just a lead up to better things. It mostly seemed like a bunch of violence and a couple of scenes of gratuitious sex. There was not one little bit of humor which made fallout 3 and fallout new vegas so much fun. The soundtrack was good including some songs which I am not familiar with, maybe made for the movie. Tomorrow I'll give episode two a try and see if it gets better.

Just finished the last episode. The series themes are Very Fallout. Let's just say I hate Vault-Tech even more now

And yes the location an antagonist is heading for at the end of the show IS New Vegas. besides the new Vegas sign it shows the NV skyline and you can see a “Lucky 38“ sign.

I just watched the first episode, then went to bed. I am old.

I like it so far.
