Dogs are weird

How the heck can they tell? Our dog acted just this way when we carried a new dog bed into the house. She practically tore it out of our hands before we got it anywhere near the floor.

If it's the same as a previous bed they had, then it may be that they can smell a familiar kind of fiber or fabric treatment. =)
