Fair compensation, since they only wanted back the difference in the cost of the seats. Originally the airlines offered them a couple vouchers worth $73 each. They said they plan to donate the money to the organization Blind Low Vision NZ. I'd imagine they'd want to donate to a more deserving cause, like one that treats dogs with gas. Oh well.A New Zealand couple who got blasted with smelly gas from a fellow four-legged passenger on a flight got compensated for their troubles months after it happened.
Gill Press told Insider that she and her husband Warren Press were awarded about $1,410 in compensation from Singapore Airlines after they complained that they were forced to let go of their premium seats on the plane and instead sit in economy due to a loud, farting dog that belonged to a passenger seated next to them.
Border collie. Nuff said.
They're geniuses and a joy as companions. However, one had better have things for them to do all their waking hours or they will find things to do.Border collie. Nuff said.
