I actually have a Founder's account for it. I bought it during EA when it was a totally different game (now called Save The World mode). I hated the battle royale side, but my friend sucked me into it late last year. I do actually really enjoy it now that it is much more diverse. I play a lot of Lego Fortnite and Festival, plus Save The World since I can actually earn cash shop money there from doing quests since I am a founder. I still suck at BR, but I play with my friend who doesn't and have a lot of fun. We recently won a match in Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter skins lol. It is kind of satisfying when it starts out with 100 people and you end up winning. My superior hiding skills save the day a lot.

Not sure where that came from, but I'm suspicious, mostly based on the grammar and typos there. I cannot find anything on their site that uses that wording. I'm not defending them, or saying their 3rd party verification partners are above reproach, just that that particular screenshot is suspicious.

Persona accidentally left some of its source code exposed, and an interface for reporting user data directly to the Federal government is straight up built into the code.

Investigators analyzing this code found that routine ID checks are being routed into a dedicated "watchlist" database that has been active since November 2023. The leaked files revealed a fully functional module designed to file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) directly to FinCEN—the US Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network—and its Canadian equivalent, FINTRAC.

Instead of basic data integrations, these are direct government filings. The code even contains dropdown menus to tag user data with specific public-private intelligence program codenames, including Project SHADOW, ANTON, and ATHENA.

I mean...it doesn't get much more explicit than that. It doesn't matter what Discord itself says or doesn't say Persona is doing with your data - the functions are right there in the source code. If you're age-verifying for Discord your identity is being checked against government watchlists and matches are being reported.
