I can tell you exactly where that leads. It leads to your cat learning to leap to the counter and, from a standing start, 48 inches to the top of the upper cabinets then gazing down on you and his brother like, "You inferior minions may now worship me." (Brother is not able to make the leap due to what one might call "an avoirdupois situation.")
