The fact these people used a post of mine as an example of what not to post is hilarious. I wouldn't want to be associated with the wastes of sperm and egg who visit that site, let alone maintain it. Their mothers should have swallowed them.

I don't recall coming across a mention of it on the Second Life subreddit. Can't have that high a profile for now.

Thank you for that by the way. We as a community need to collectively suppress sites like this from making the rounds. They do no fucking favors and frankly If I were running Governance I'd yeet banhammers at anyone confirmed to be posting to it.

Freedom of Speech is a government concept. Corporations (i.e. Linden Lab) have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, within certain legal frameworks protecting minorities, to varying degrees. If I, acting at the behest of Linden Lab, decide that you as a resident are causing undue duress to our fellow residents, I am within my, and Linden Lab's constitutional rights to evict you from the platform without recourse, unless otherwise stipulated in the Terms of Service or as a requirement of California, US, or your territory's laws.

Our home has enough issues as it is. Dramatics need not apply. In fact, they are explicitly not desired.

Note my sarcasm.

Addendum: I am all for freedom of expression. But we should not be enabling, let alone tolerating brigading and harassment over petty crap like pixel empires and virtual boinking.

Those types of sites are so incredibly toxic. I also would not let any link to one be posted here or even referenced by name. The defunct ones were fucking cancer, and the people that ran them for so long have zero excuse for doing so.
