I’ve conditioned mine to lick her lips when she wants to let me know she’s hungry. She’s not super vocal.

I’ll say, want to eat? Then I’ll say it again… etc.

Came in handy when I once forgot her dinner. I was watching tv, was about 7-8pm, and she sat right in front of me, licking her lips nonstop in a sort of angry way, ha ha. I was like OMG sorry! I forgot!
