Does cold brew have a higher caffeine concentration than hot brewed coffee?
Cold brew is made usually as a concentrate with higher coffee to water levels - unless it's watered down before drinking. So it tends to have far more caffeine than a "normal" cup of coffee would.

I think the brand I prefer has a bit less than regular coffee, and I dilute it a little more with ice anyway. I don't require a lot of wakebean, just enough to let the 'thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.'

Cold Brew (especially fizzy 'nitro cold brew') tends to be naturally sweeter/less bitter, has a nuttier flavor and I don't need anywhere near as much sweetener to keep it from making my stomach cranky. :)

I love the mocha, but I have to trade off on lesser iced coffee products like International Delight due to the price. $8-9 for a four pack of 9.5 ounce bottles? Argh!

(BTW, afraid of the food forum?)
Yeah, If I am going tonhave iced coffee at home, I can get a whole big half gallon thing of ID Iced Coffee for a lot cheaper and dole it out in smaller servings.

I have also started making Iced coffee, which is just some cold brew coffee in a jug in the fridge, add creamer for flavor when drinking. Its pretty good.

For hot coffee these days I make it with a french press and ground beans. Because my coffee drinking has become increasingly pretentious. I am getting more into using small roaster artisan style beans, but I am not really there yet.

Within 5 years I expect I will only drink coffee I have grown myself under a full moon, brewed by slow dripping it over hot rocks for a week, then filtering it with sand from some special asian place. This will produce half a cup per week.

One shall turn aside and investigate this cold brew for its nuttiness and lower, when diluted, caffeine distribution. My stain accumulates slowly as the coffee is sipped through the day, sometimes into the evening, then in my dreams. That's only possible with a regular or low concentration of caffeine. I do like it iced though, in the afternoon, with a touch of milk. Just thinking about it causes me to lapse into semiconscious bliss.
