Having watched The Snyder Cut, I feel comfortable saying the film has bigger problems than its seemingly old-school format.

Having watched The Snyder Cut, I feel comfortable saying the film has bigger problems than its seemingly old-school format.

The question is if it is better than the theatrical version. (have not seen it yet, need to reserve a full evening for it).

I am not a fan of Snyder, but I have to imagine that a version cut by a single director is going to be better than on designed by committee under a director who was brought in to replicate a move that he didn't like making but grossed a boatload of money.

Not necessarily a good movie, but better.

If you hire Snyder, always go full Snyder.

I have plans to watch it with friends this weekend.

So the theatrical version has a 6.3 IMDB score with 393,000 ratings. The new version has an 8.6 with 70,000 ratings. Its still very new, so that number may change. By comparison The Avengers (2012) has an 8.0 with 1.27 million ratings, and Wonder Woman (2017) a 7.4 with 576,000 ratings.

I also plan to watch it this weekend. We can compare notes.

I watched Zack Snyder's slow motion Justice League and it was probably the most Zack Snyder thing I have ever seen. It's still a pretty bad film, but now it's a whole long longer!

Though credit where credit due.. Flash and Cyborg come across a lot better in this one. Whedon did them dirty.

Saw the film. Film would have been better without the 30 minutes at the end. Just lop it off.

Any film that undoes what that human garbage Joss Whedon did has to be given some credit. I don't like Zack Snyder, but that's more about not liking anything he has made rather than being human garbage.
