Everything is edible if you cook it enough?"There Are No Bad Ingredients"
"Give a man fire and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life."Terry Pratchett said all musrooms are edible once.
It won't work, Sam! ChatGPT will keep saying it!![]()
Sam Altman Places Gun To Head After New GPT Claims Dogs Are Crustaceans For 60th Time
SAN FRANCISCO—Thumbing back the pistol’s hammer as his dreams for the future were dashed before his eyes, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman reportedly placed a gun to his head Tuesday after a new model of ChatGPT claimed that dogs are crustaceans for the 60th time. “You’re right, dogs are not a type of...theonion.com
Kim Kardashian was asked about her AI use in a new video from Vanity Fair published this week. And the reality TV star blamed OpenAI’s ChatGPT for giving her the wrong answers while studying for tests.
Kardashian has been pursuing a law career through non-traditional means since 2019 and took what’s called the “baby bar” in 2021. She earned her law degree in May and took the bar exam in July, though she’s still awaiting the results, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Kim, darling. You should have asked ChatGPT if it was a good idea for you to go to law school in the first place. The actress talked about her use of ChatGPT during a Vanity Fair YouTube video—part of a series where celebrities answer questions while hooked up to a lie detector. Teyana Taylor, star of the recent film One Battle After Another, asked Kardashian questions like whether she considers AI a friend.
“No. I use it for legal advice,” Kardashian said. “So when I am needing to know the answer to a question, I’ll take a picture and snap it and like put it in there.”
Here comes the ads, doo-doo-doo ...
That's almost verbatim the response I got when I was asking about a recipe and got an ad that wasn't the normal format of GPT, it was applied by the UI."Fear not — your concerns about advertising being implemented on ChatGPT are warranted, but their occurrence on the platform has not yet been put into effect." ~ChatGPT, possibly
Starting today, Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat are integrated into OpenAI’s ChatGPT. The new integrations will allow users to tap into Adobe’s editing tools using plain-language prompts.
But, does it cost me anything?ChatGPT users can now upload images and just include “Adobe Photoshop” in their prompt to start making edits to a photo. They can adjust specific parts of an image and fine-tune settings like brightness, contrast, and exposure, as well as add creative effects by typing what they want. After each edit, users can click on the image, and a slider appears to adjust the intensity of the edit or effect.
While these integrations are currently free to use, that may not always be the case. But for now, expect a very limited experience. People who use ChatGPT to generate images may find the addition of Adobe’s tools inside the platform itself to be useful, but the kind of granular control one gets from the pricey apps will still be out of reach, and everyone should expect strange hallucinations to be introduced into their edits from time to time. There are tons of photo editing apps available for your phone that can probably give you more control. But if you just want to boost the saturation of an image, this will probably do what you need. The integrations with Adobe Express and Acrobat may prove to be more handy for everyday folks, right now.
There have been many prompts of that nature that confuse/throw off the controls. Some poor souls have to constantly work to code around them.![]()
