That is weird. Instead of zero results, I found 1260 when searching for "church" in "Apparel" with setting "General, Moderate, Adult". (Your post wasn't about the advertisements that never correspond to search terms, right? But for the oddness of you getting zero results when someone else found more than zero results?)

Granted, most of the stuff I saw seemed to be from 2007. Did you do something so that really really old items didn't turn up in the search results?

Which, OK. A bit disconcerting when you don't know the person at all.

Could my avatar have walked by his (?) avatar at some point, and I merely logged off before a real connection could be made? But more importantly, was it when I was in my *adorable* neko form, or my fearsome demonic drow form, or my 4-legged centaur form?

Fraud bots send texts to phone numbers (wrong number scam). I get the occasional sugar baby looking for a sugar momma/daddy or canned blogger intro asking if I wanna chat. Not a real person behind the account I think.

Someone has set the price for a parcel on the mainland - 416sqm - at L$500,000.

That's approximately L$1201.9 per square meter.

It's 52 meters long by 8 meters wide. Could make for a pretty decent bowling alley, though just a couple of lanes, at best. You probably won't be able to have any tournaments or anything like that.

Also, it's all on the water. So a particularly soggy bowling alley.

But hey, you have access to the public waterway on one side of the sliver, and nothing on the other but the vast expanse of inaccessible faux-ocean (sim edge). You could do an off-sim build. I wonder if anyone would complain about an off-sim structure taking up the full length of a sim, but clamped onto an 8 meter-wide plot. There should be some benefit to spending half a million lindens on what is basically a lower case L, I think.

I thought about it some. Like: At what price point would I be Elated to part with a parcel of land? Add a zero. And leave it there. It will probably never sell, but that's fine too. Either way.

This link is to a YouTube video about a Commodore 64 demo someone recently made which uses clever trickery to make it appear as though 9 different sprites are moving around on the screen even though the C64 can only display 8 sprites at a time. It seems to be super impressive for what it is, but retro tech is very niche so I don't really expect you to be impressed and don't feel bad if you're not, because that's not why I'm sharing the video.

I can't find it now, but there was a word-cloud graph of all the myriad weird sex-porn-fetish-insanity and how they all linked together.

I seem to recall that "unbirthing" was on there somewhere, probably linked to 'vore' and 'inflation' and 'balloon popping/not-popping' fetishes. It was a very disturbing graph all around.
