So Musk is now about six months already CEO and owner of Twitter. In this time he has roughly fired about 50% of the employees.
Did we notice this in terms of technical service becoming unstable, problems or other stuff? IMHO not. Twitter is still running pretty well, they are doing updated and also adding features now and the. So in other words from a technical perspective Twitter is still able to deliver, despite that 50% of the employees are gone now, which includes many developers.
This simple fact makes me really wonder how many of the employees that Musk did fire were in reality just working in bullshit jobs, meaning sitting there but doing not much nor thing valuable at all for the company. I guess we will never know, but it is really an intersting case study regardless.
