I read partway into the thread and there was an update. So far 50 of 84 quit. I suppose the rest are still floating resumes. And the next day every employee turned in their legal 2 weeks' notice.
Brilliant!
HAH! Wal-Mart policy! Wish someone had asked me where the post office is...
Ok. Now I'm scaring myself.I read paartway into the thread and there was an update. So far 50 of 84 quit. I suppose the rest are still floating resumes.
Resistance to corporate bullshit shouldn’t start with putting the worker in a vulnerable position. Start at the service desk, “Are floor staff required to escort me to the item I’m seeking?” Move on up to writing a letter to head office/posting on r/antiwork.This is why I clearly say "Can you tell me where x is." Then they get confused while I stand there as they walk away.
In a later comment, the Redditor said: "[The] funny part is, I'm not even one of the 3 employees that he was referring to. Tomorrow I will make 4."
Furious boss blasts three workers who didn't 'consider their colleagues' lives and children' when they quit - and threatens to make everyone else work 30 hours overtime, dock their pay and extend their notice period
- Woman from Chicago posted furious email from her boss on Reddit
- Three employees had quit and given two weeks notice for 'better opportunities'
- Boss was 'doubtful' they had found better jobs and branded them 'outrageous'
- Said their colleagues would have to pick up slack and work 30 hours overtime
