In light of the great cat food shortage, it would not surprise me to see this on the nearly empty pet food shelf. I'm betting my cats would like it.

Pity that Farley Mowat has passed on. He was kind of the world expert on what mice taste like, since he experimented living on live-caught mice while studying wolves in Alaska or Canada.

Edit: One thing he determined is that if you're going to live on mice it's important to eat them whole so you get essential vitamins from the gut.

Well I guess, breed and then kill mice, put them in the food and advertise with "made with real mice" instead of "mice flavored".
Make a few different profitable recipes and grab a bunch of cats and see which one turns out to be favorite. Job done.
The tester cats won't mind to be appointed for this job, when you ask me.

On the other hand, mice might form unions to fight this situation.
