LMAO! I just posted a thread regarding getting a message when I tried to send you a "conversation". It said it ran into a problem. That is all it said though. I probably tried to send it just as you turned SSL on. My timing, as usual, is impeccable.

I did the same thing, clicked on the buttons of previous reactions and was frustrated. The way to do it is to hover your mouse over the smiley face in the right hand lower corner of the post's window. A pop-up menu of reactions will reveal itself; you may then select a reaction on which to click and watch it appear or the reaction count increment for existing reactions. It's not well practiced for me, so I screw up hovering a lot by inadvertently clicking.

Is it possible to keep sign-ups enabled on the SLU site (and like disable notifications to you so you won't be bothered).

In my imagination, I see the spam-bot controllers making account after account and then not being able to post anything.

Yeah I meant the same thing -phpbb (and vbulliten) have roles so just change the default from being able to post to not being able to post and voila...spammer screams piece the night air ("...what sweet music they make!" )

That name is perfect other than being 52,000 characters long - but one of the other criteria was moving away from the SL part.
