With this delay in Nevada, and their law about postmark, I have this stupid fear that someone will magically produce 10,000 ballots in the next week that magically have the correct postmark for Trump.
And they would probably be dumb enough to make all 10,000 (100%) for Trump.

What I don't see is her saying anything about the election being decided (today).
The interview is here -- she doesn't commit herself, certainly, but she sounds reasonably confident there's a good chance they'll know later today

Thanks but I've already seen it. As I noted, "the CNN site doesn't have her saying this, as far as I can find."

I'll assume it was a misquote, and move on.

The problem I'm having with CNN is they haven't called Arizona [last I looked] even when The Guardian and Politico and even Faux have....

But my mom did say that Santorum is expecting Biden to get PA....

Why settle for Canada? Check out Holland.

Legalized weed, more bikes than (healthy) people, everyone speaks English, beautiful cities, joppisaus - what's not to love?
How about the most famous Dutchman ever - Gold Member?

@Jolene: so you like to play hockey, want it cold and windy and not too overcrowded? You should go to Finland or Sweden. If you want to have some deeply Canadian vibes, Sweden's region Lappland can help to fill that hole.

Steve Kornacki, whom I admire for his incredible grasp on statistics, was saying earlier that in Atlanta and Pittsburgh, Biden is getting 80-90% of the ballots as they're counted.
I didn't examine the result from individual counties there and yes, with those details in mind it looks even better for Biden than the stats for the state as a whole indicate. Pennsylvania is also going the right way for him and right now I think he's the favorite in both states. plus Nevada of course. He only needs to win one of those but if he takes all three, he'll end up with 306 electorial college votes.

If we are really talking about it, I should hit Norway as that is where my ancestors are from...explains why they settled in a frigid part of the country, explains the hockey and uncrowded areas. :)

That finger in the dyke story is an American invention.
Never really happened. It is not how our dykes work.
We only have several statues of that little fellow to please American tourists.
How is it that I have no idea about this? Can you explain it please?

My mom's dad's family settled in Chicago from Poland - then at some point most of them went to San Diego - except one of my mom's cousins who went back to Minnesota [prolly missed the cold].

off-topic, but to explain

Flood control is an important issue for the Netherlands, as due to its low elevation, approximately two thirds of its area is vulnerable to flooding, while the country is densely populated. Natural sand dunes and constructed dikes, dams, and floodgates provide defense against storm surges from the sea

Hansje Brinkers ..... is a cult figure from Dutch mythology sponsored by the Tourist Board. According to the legend, he saved the nation from drowning in ancient times by sticking his index finger in a hole in the dike until the dike warden and his men came with sandbags.

The whole "stop the vote count" plan really only *could* have worked if Trump had been ahead in electoral college votes. Stopping the votes when Biden was not only ahead, but at 264 means, Biden wins (any state not fully counted/committed would have to call it for whoever is ahead in the votes, and all it takes is Arizona for Biden).

Thank you, so mythology... which shouldn't really be diminished as it's important to a culture.

Interesting. I thought the Netherlands was much better prepared for such eventualities than Venice? Venice is a hot mess.
