Old Gor refers to online Gorean-Roleplay from BEFORE Second Life EXISTED - so nobody here operated any sims, stores, or blogs there. The only relationship between Old Gor and the topic of this thread is that I explained that a phrase I used (real-time as opposed to real-life) goes back to Old Gor.

No, that was practice for the Gor that existed, and still exists to some extent today, in HTML chatrooms. IRC, and particularly Silk&Steel was full of so-called lifestylers. You think begging entry was bad, we had to ask permission three times to leave an empty-room in Silk&Steel. We had some pretty good roleplay-rooms on Dalnet, but roleplay really peaked in the early 2000's, on sites like AlterRealm.
