They are not a group, so good luck with that. They are boogymen the right has made up.

Tell that to the Washington Post. A few years ago they said it was ran by someone I knew. Sent it to her to see if she would blow up as I seem to remember she is an anarchist.

Yet in the end these protests are doing far more harm than good. They are not hurting the racists one little bit by destroying their own communities. There is a good chance that most of the stores will never reopen. The USA is entering an economic depression and the money is just not available. What is needed is a change in the US state laws to bring criminal police to justice. As for the police they did not confront the rioters at first and looked at what happened. If you think last night was bad it will be worse tonight if the protesters are intent on burning down their communities.

When you see protests peaceful during the day then violent after dark it usually is not that the peaceful protesters turned violent. Typically other people showed up and led the crowd to what was not planned. Sometimes outside agitators trying to make the crowd look bad.

To be fair, this, from the article, seems not unreasonable

Jordan, a 49-year-old college graduate, took the exam in 1996 and scored 33 points, the equivalent of an IQ of 125. But New London police interviewed only candidates who scored 20 to 27, on the theory that those who scored too high could get bored with police work and leave soon after undergoing costly training.

The average score nationally for police officers is 21 to 22, the equivalent of an IQ of 104, or just a little above average.

That's where the problem lies; because objectively it IS a racial issue, between the state and specifically black citizens. And while our particular authoritarian police system is definitely a danger to everyone, it is not as much, or the same kind, of a danger to white people as it is to black people.

I agree that blacks are more likely to be abused by the police, I'm offended by the way they're being treated to be clear and don't blame them for raising hell or even rioting to get the point across. But there's also a problem with a disproportionate amount of violent crime in the black community so therefore the police are more likely to be involved in confrontations with them disproportionately.

I agree with this 100%, nobody dislikes cops more than I do! We're not supposed to have this kind of relationship with the government, its repugnant to the constitution.
