I like offal.

I’ve never had bubble tea. Was all the rage when I was in uni, and it’s still sold everywhere, but just never tried it. I wouldn’t say no, though.

Poutine (I live way too far from Canada) are probably it
There is nothing that this mouth has not tried and tolerated even if not preferred. There may be something that I don't know I don't know about. Poutine is a recent, previously unknown, taste that Kelly and Amy introduced the Khamons to in a fifties diner after visiting the McAuliffe-Shepard Planetarium somewhere in New Hampshire. We now send pictures of our poutines to them whenever we run across it. Today's luncheon was catfish nuggets and fried okra at a newly opened restaurant. It's also dinner because the "nuggets" are quarters, and there are twelve of them in the basket, and "a side of okra" means you get a field of okra and you get a field of okra and everybody gets a field of okra.

Bubble tea is a great snack or meal substitution when wandering lost in a strange city. Well not really lost, but taking the long way, headed in the right direction, ish. The trick is to have a local Multipass because the transits can always get you back somewhere if you don't fall off the ferry. Don't ask. SRSLY

Pork or chicken fried rice is what I’ve always seen offered in Chinese (American/Canadian) restos. And no meat, I suppose.

Some of my favourites there.
Also, my brother makes a mean Tiramisu. You gotta try it some day!

All the mentions of pork fried rice (and lack of mention of beef fried rice) made me look up the closest Asian restaurants. Weird thing happened. I found a bunch of places that had listed Pork fried rice on their menu, but only two of those places are places I have eaten at (one not an Asian place, but a BBQ place). Bunch had Chicken Fried rice, Beef Fried Rice, and Veggie fried rice - and those are the places I eat at (the ones that had pork didn't seem to have beef).

Weird. Never thought of using 'ingredients of fried rice' as a basic thing to look for to find places I'd like to eat at or not eat at. Though that's just Panda Express that might have worked with this here test - I kept trying Panda Express and getting ill until I finally stopped forcing myself to go there.

I love and have loved beef fried rice. I like using beef fried rice or veggie fried rice instead of the default rice for the meals I get (as in, I'd replace the white or jasmine rice with fried rice). Also like eating beef fried rice by itself.

Looking at the map around me closer - beef fried rice seems to be listed in my favorite Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese places, and pork fried rice not offered at those specific places (so worded to indicate that Thai/Korean/Vietnamese might normally have pork fried rice, but none of the ones I seem to eat at). And all of the places on the map that has pork fried rice are BBQ places, or Chinese places.
