Two Point Museum, the latest Two Point game, takes everything the developers have learned from Two Point Hospital and Two Point Museum and they have created an incredibly fun game. It is very accessible, but has deep systems and keeps surprising me. I absolutely love this game. I have already put probably 20 hours into it so far. Each museum type is different and quite enjoyable to discover. If you like management games that don't take themselves too seriously but still have intricate systems, this is the game for you.

Two Point Museum gets an animal DLC - Zooseum.

The base game was updated recently with some new features and an intro to the DLC as well.

I bought this game yesterday and I'm having SUCH a good time with it. I've been playing for hours and constantly itching to get back to it.

For me, it has all the whimsy that I most loved in the Sims, plus the building and decorating projects that keep me happily puttering. I usually balk at guided play, but the tutorial mode strikes a good balance between letting me play, then pointing me in the right direction for learning new features. I miss having a game avatar on premises, but that's a minor quibble. Overall, I'm really impressed with the game.

Two Point Museum is absolutely brilliant. I love the entire series. I didn't think a museum would be a good fit after Hospital and Campus, but I was so wrong. I am just starting the new DLC (Arty Facts) that adds an art museum (you can play the first part of it even without the DLC - you can play until you get one star in that museum). Zooseum was such a fun expansion. They took the formula and used it in a different and creative way, and the animals are freaking adorable. Everything is so well done. I can't recommend this game more highly. I have spent a ridiculous number of hours in it and I loved every minute.

Beebo Brink , definitely make sure you do the entire campaign before doing a sandbox game. It teaches all the mechanics of each museum type in a nice way, and eventually, you will want to mix and match exhibits from different museum types (and sometimes even need to). Each museum is so unique, but the gameplay stays similar so it is not confusing. Let me know if you have any questions about it. All of the DLC is worth getting, including the Fantasy one that didn't add a new museum, but did add a bunch of new exhibits and gameplay. It also interacts well with the Digital rift, which lets you get crazy themed stuff for the museum.

As an example of why I love it so much, I did my first expedition for the new art museum, and I got back this:

1044

He has a cheesy gubbon on his pitchfork, Two Point's version of a cheeto.

Oh, absolutely! It's a really clever system for teaching the game mechanics and setting reachable goals that guide without restricting what you do. I have lots of ideas of what I'd like to do in the Sandbox, but I know I'm not ready yet.

Yesterday I finished earning two stars on the Memento Mile museum, so today I started working on my second star for Passwater Cove. All told, this should keep me happy for months before I even touch a DLC.

Sadly, as a result I've lost all interest in Paralives. Much as I support their effort (literally, I've been a low-level Patreon supporter for nearly a year now), it just doesn't look fun. Great tools for building, which I was looking forward to exploring, but it pales in comparison to the Two Point games.

I still plan on getting it. I will let you know how it is. I am also starting to really get into inZoi more and more with each big update, so lots of options there.

As far as the other two, Museum obviously is the pinnacle of the quality of life features in the series. However, I have recently done a replay of Two Point Hospital on my PS5, and it remains brilliant as ever. Hospital is the spiritual successor to the classic game Theme Hospital. I originally was not as keen on Campus, but Museum actually made me appreciate its approach to gameplay more, so I have been replaying it as well and have gotten much further in it than I ever did.

All of the games are just peak gaming. I can literally sit and play them for hours at a time. I love moving back and forth between places, especially as new options become available that I can apply to previous ones to get additional stars. I am glad you found it. I didn't think to recommend it to you, but everyone I have shown it to has loved it. I bought a friend who is not really a gamer a copy of Hospital, and he played it for 6 hours the first time and was up until like 4 am lol.

Hey Cristiano -- Do you recommend the Explorer DLC? I didn't go for the combo purchase because I wasn't sure I'd like TPM enough to warrant buying the extra pack, but I'm solidly in now and the Explorer pack is on sale on Steam. Will it add much to my current base game early in the campaign or would it be better to add it on in a few months when I've farther along and want to shake things up a bit?

It is worth it - this is what it comes with:
  • 5000 Kudosh!
  • Exclusive Map Location to explore for unique exhibit
  • Exclusive pop-up challenge museum
  • Prestige Package - start your museum with a rare, high buzz level item
  • Explorer staff outfit
  • Additional interactive display
  • Decorative arch way
  • 2 decorative items
  • Explorer ticket desk theme
  • Explorer helicopter skin
  • 3 unique statues
  • 3 floor decorations, 3 wallpapers
  • 3 bench styles
  • Staff Replenishment Trunk which provides additional bonuses after a perilous expedition
Is any of it game changing? No - but it is worth it. At that price it is a no brainer. The 5000 Kudosh helps to unlock a lot of things earlier as well (though a lot of items are locked behind knowledge levels). Having a few extra decor items, as well as an expedition location to get something unique and a challenge museum is fun. I would definitely grab it.

BTW, the new art museum DLC is everything I hoped i would be and more. They continue to take the core gameplay and expand it in wonderful ways. You will not be disappointed in any of the DLC, but especially two that add new museum types.

Make sure you check your pricing on this bundle:

It includes that explorer upgrade, plus the first 2 dlcs (and the base game you already own, but the price adjusts for that). It may be more cost effective just to take the plunge on that bundle.

I'll go check that out now!

I just finished the Security Challenge -- I picked up a Silver my first time out, so decided to replay it to start with everything I'd learned. Second time seemed to be going really well, but I ended with a Bronze. Booo! Not sure what I did wrong since all thieves were caught, unlike the first time when a few got away. I missed some nuance, dammit.
