I've worn shirts or jeans a couple of times before washing before - but, 6 months? That's nuts. Other people are absolutely going to smell that no matter how much Axe you douse yourself with.
I agree with that! After that long, it would accumulate a lot of sweat and stink. ... but I was raised to the irrational opposite extreme where you shouldn't wear cloths more than 1 day at a time no matter what. My mom just did a TON of laundry... big waste of energy, water, detergent and her time.

Some say they are trying to use the washing machine/detergents less for environmental reasons, others because they want to save time and money, and some simply admit to having become lazy working from home.
All the above, but WFH was the tipping point to "loosen my standards." I shower every other day in mild weather, less in winter, daily on hot summer days (which we haven't had much of this year so far). Clothes go in the laundry hamper after a few wears; the exact number depends on the level of activity versus the durability of the item.

My mom got smart once the kids were old enough and made us all do our own laundry. Including my father. There were 5 people in the house, so laundry was pretty much an everyday thing.

Once I was on my own I've done laundry twice a week. Thursdays (clothing) and Sundays (sheets towels blankets etc.) Sometimes Monday. Sundays were also for doing any laundry from camping out.

My workout clothes often end up smelling more like cinnamon and cloves than anything else.

I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with the ridiculous amount of spiced chai I consume throughout the day. ;)
