Cristiano, since someone here said she can't have a "productive discussion" with me, I'll suffice myself to say she and everyone else who's been defending the ethnostate that has imposed a brutal apartheid regime on the people whose lands it
illegally occupies, that it's been violating the Rome Statute of the ICC from the first moment it responded to October 7. Every single statement by Israeli politicians, military officials, journalists, etc. on Gaza and the West Bank has been at least one violation of articles 6 (Genocide), 7 (Crimes Against Humanity), and 8 (War Crimes). But she and others have been trying to rationalize Israel's crimes, excuse them, and normalize them. And don't even get me started on the "Labour" government that's owned by the Israeli lobby. Or the German government with its "historical duty to Israel" bullshit.
If anyone wants "productive discussion," first they'll have to understand that there's no bloody excuse for genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes; no rationalization; no normalization; no "yes but the other side"; no "realism". And they'll have to
own their shit. Oh, and no past suffering can excuse Nazi-like behaviour. No geopolitical balderdash can excuse giving free reign to a fascist political system to destroy its neighbouring countries and erode our alleged democracies and rights so that criticism of its actions gets prohibited.
