I rather liked episode 6. It was kind of your typical, "Lets up the stakes for our core running plot lines" you see in a lot of newer shows.
The garbage bags thing was weird, but they did pull them off from the bridge tonget to the controls so maybe it was just part of the original training exercise so the trainees would not get sidetracked checking every room or something.

We got Nus Braka back with the double cross. Though I am surprised he was not lying about the Furies suceptabiloty to sonic bursts.

I don't think telepaths are the exception, Tarima is just special for reasons that will likely be explained later.
I kind of did hate the comic thing, but partly because the computer seemed to be reading it in "real time." Which was weird.
That officer dude that went with thim. When the ship got attack it was almost funny becsuse he had prevoously been basically giving a stereotypical "I am ten days from retirement" speal like they do before getting killed.
I am kind of disappointed they killed the jerk Vulcan just as he was becoming kind of likeable.
