No one seems to be commenting on this but the service was at LivingTree yesterday. Marianne McCann hosted a lovely memorial in a sim packed with many friends of Robin. I was crying by the end of it after listening to people speaking about Robins Woods and how she impacted their lives, both SL and RL.

Robin (Sojourner) Wood

24 November, 1953 - 19 April, 2021

It is with a heavy heart that we must report that Robin (Sojourner) Wood passed away after an extended struggle with cancer (phyllodes tumors). She will be remembered for a long history of artwork and instruction.

“She who is remembered, lives”

We hope that you can join us for a memorial for Robin (Sojourner) Wood on her island, Livingtree, on Sunday, the 25th of April, at 6:00 p.m. SLT. We will encourage you to share your stories about Robin’s works in Second Life and beyond.

I heard a lot of pictures being taken but nobody I know of recorded it. I thought about it but it didn't seem appropriate.

This sucks to hear. A lot. Robin Wood's tutorials are how I came to understand texturing. I used her Photoshop actions for years. I even own her Tarot deck. May her memory be a blessing.

So sad. Spoke to her once at a Show 'n' Tell - a long time ago. Her tutorials are an essential resource for SL artists and creators.
