For the uninitiated, digital twin is a term for recreating real world locations (for example, a factory) digitally for purposes of AI being able to simulate it for different analysis purposes. In the case of Earth 2, it is digital climate simulation on an enormous scale that has the potential to lead to much better weather and disaster prediction.
