I had taken a course on workplace safety years ago (was a store manager) and we were taught about safety around ladders, among other things, to make sure our employees and customers were safe, etc.

We had high ceilings, like twenty feet or so, and had to replace the floodlights and such. Anyway, we had very high ladders, of course.

Well, no one wanted go that high so I always ended up doing it. I don’t mind heights, but yeah, make sure your ladder is up to code, and on solid ground. No matter how much you’re careful, though, those things are evil. 😈

Also, I’ve seen people do this when they don’t have a high enough ladder.
Don’t do this.

I have to take ladder safety at work every year. And what I have said to my coworkers is, "you don't take ladder safety to learn how to climb a ladder, you take ladder safety so if you fall off a ladder, a lawyer can ask if you took ladder safety and were following it 100%"
