I am surprised anyone uses the old homes.
Until this move pretty much forcing the adoption of the 'new homes' I purposely avoided moving to the HOA sectors.

Now those who wanted a home and wanted nothing to do with Vehicle Enthusiasts have to keep a corridor carved out and have restrictions on how they can secure their parcels.

Hope they preserve the old light house and dead dragon at the NW corner, it's a neat quest to due despite it being primy old

Those houses are absolutely hideous. Most of them look like someone asked their favourite AI art generator to design something that would fit into a 1980s render of a generic American suburb. Wooden sheds, a couple of McMansions and two things with straw cones on top.

Once upon a time I had one of the old LInden elven castles in a sim full of those and hobbit holes. That was quite cute for a few years. I'd go back to that rather than take one of those soulless sheds.

This has been coming for a long time. They said that the old Linden Homes would be phased out eventually when they launched Bellisseria. The new homes are much better than the old ones, though I'm not a big fan of the fantasy home interiors. And if the homes remind you of various Disney properties like Celebration, the Polynesian resort, Fort Wilderness and the Villas and the original vision of Epcot.....well certain Linden once worked for the house of mouse.

Trads are okay, but the Winchester is overused. The older trad regions oop north in old Bellisseria are less varied than the newer ones. Very “Celebration“.

I like the Houseboats.

The campers are cool, they're 512 instead of 1024. My favorite on is the tiny home one. Campwich is a nice Civilian Conservation Corp inspired hangout.

Stilts have the most laggy regions IMHO, I like the houses though.

Log homes are a-frames, regions are nice.

Chalets are Europe inspired. They also have a nice community center

Newbrookes are basically the modern equivalent to the old Sherbrooke linden homes. Very open plan.

The fantasy regions are nice, the houses are a bit bland

I haven't visited the Asian theme much and have no opinion

The villas are premium plus, they're just okay

I like the “ranch“ ones better, very Midwestern in feel. These are also premium plus.

Tikis are very Polynesian/enchanted tiki room. Some are underwater for mer-people. the region layouts are annoying but I understand why they did them that way. Also premium plus.

Alpines are basically more contemporary log homes. I'm meh on them. They're not horrible, but not great either.

I spent quite a lot of time in the Meadowbrooks adding mesh to them trying to make them look less crappy. That the walls were a half meter thick and the windows looked like huge sheets of plastic with panes painted on really tweaked me. Guess I just enjoyed the pain, and got quite a bit of practice doing mesh.

I finally upgraded from my meadowbrook home to a 'jolly roger' house boat a few weeks ago. I initially wanted the beach house on stilts but there never seemed to be any available. It was hard finding anything that was as open plan as the meadowbrook and I hate camming around in more enclosed spaces.
I think the house boat is working for me. I'm no means a boatie or a sailor, but neighbouring homes have given me ideas on different ways to use my patch of water :).

A lot of the Linden home regions have always reminded me of Center Parcs holiday villages, but without the activity centres.
