Does any other virtual world have the avatar diversity of Second Life?

There's all sorts of shapes your avatar can be in Second Life. Aside from a human, you can be any other animal, plant, construct, or anything really. Do you know of any other virtual worlds where your avatar can be many different shapes?

IMVU and Gaia Online also have diverse offerings for your avatar. More so the latter. But they both don't compare to Second Life's variety.

Probably not, I think this is more a result of scale than it is due to any unique function of Second Life as a platform. While older virtual world avatars like IMVU's may lack the moddability of Ruth, latest generation worlds like High Fidelity and VRChat seem to have a lot greater potential flexibility. They just currently lack the userbase to really start pushing the boundaries of what their avatars can do.

IMVU has a similar level of skin diversity but scaling doesn't work well. Sinespace has the potential but is too new to have as mcuh creators.
