That poor person who was sick, though. There are moments in our lives when we just wish the floor would swallow us whole. He/she must have been mortified.

I also have a thought for the cleaning crew… hope they are paid well.

I remember a diarrhea incident at the McDonalds I was working at as a teenager. I was working lobby that day, and a gentleman leaked (down his leg wearing shorts) from the entrance to the washroom, then floors and walls of toilet area. Everyone eating pretty much got up and left because the smell was so intense. I mopped and cleaned up the lobby, but refused to even look in the bathroom (the guy was in there for an hour). I told my boss I wasn’t payed enough for that, so they sent another employee.

I've had those incidents a few times, but luckily enough I was at home when it happened and all it cost me was several hours alternating between the toilet and running the bathroom tap multiple times. Thank G-d I was also able to wake and get moving without soiling the sheets the one or two times it happened while I was sleeping.

NOT a fun time. I can also recommend a grocery deli counter to avoid at all cost, it was even written up by the city health department several times although there was always a line to purchase the fried chicken meal.

I was flying back from the UK several years ago and had a grand mal seizure on the flight. I was mortified enough as it was to wake up laying across 3 seats with my head on a stewardess's lap, let alone, if some jerk had recorded a video of what happened and then posted it to social media. I suspect the poor person with the diarrhea is beyond mortified and I think that who ever recorded it on their phone is an asshole and I also think that the media is irresponsible for putting it out as news. Seriously, people don't really need to know stuff like this unless the airlines has done something irresponsible like Air Canada who was forcing people to sit in vomit seats.

I read that same passenger boarded the flight and proceeded without incident after the plane was stripped of its carpet, cleaned, and returned to service at 5 PM to finish the delayed flight. I wonder if there was applause after he left the second time :)

EDIT: I mean, applause because he was able to recover quickly and carry on with his business, not that they were angry with him.
