Over the last few months a whole lot of tizzy had people thrown into it when somebody resurfaced an old video from 2014, posted shortly after the disappearance of MH370 over the Indian Ocean. There's always been people who are intensely certain that the airplane was vanished by aliens, and this video fuels those flames by appearing to show a bunch of tiny UFOs swirling around...AN airplane, flying somewhere over an ocean, before the UFOs and the airplane all disappear in a little flash of blackness. The video implies itself to have been taken from an American spy satellite, despite a curiously low view angle on the airplane.
About a week and a half ago, these VFX artists who review "weird" videos and give their opinions on how they would have made them, examined this video and made the observation that although the video lasts for several seconds and the plane moves a significant distance in it, the clouds never move or change shape, at all, heavily implying (I personally would say proving beyond a reasonable doubt) that the clouds are just a still photograph that the moving plane and UFOs are composited onto.
Well, someone finally found the cloud image that was used, lol - available for download on a CGI texture and stock-photo website. They dug further and found the original photographer, who still had the original raw photographs, which he took back in 2012. Here is a video he made comparing them:
