At first I was going to pass on this because it looked like an attempt by ABC at having their own "This Is Us" style show. However, after watching it, it stands on its own as an incredible show. Very strong ensemble cast and the core idea that we really don't know our friends and loved ones as well as we think resonates. Just be prepared to ugly cry - it is emotional without feeling like they are manipulating you. If you've dealt with suicide or cancer, I would probably recommend avoiding it, however.
