I don't know that any of this could be fixed and it's less a complaint and more just wondering if anyone else gets it.

On mobile, in Firefox Mobile.

Two things.

Occasionally, old threads show up in the new posts, but the click through goes to Page 1 and not the most current post.

Two, often when quote replying, the cursor looks like it's below the quite, but typing jumps to the start of the text box and it starts typing over the quote (the [QUOT) part

I don't think that is a Firefox specific thing. The forum software tries to show you the earliest post you haven't seen. So if you looked at a thread, then in the next hour two people posted to it, you would see those two posts. But if someone posts to an old thread, the forum software only keeps track of what you have looked at for a certain amount of time that is measured in weeks or a couple of months at the most. So it shows you the posts from the beginning of the thread. In that case, there should be a jump to new button at the top which picks some preset amount of time like a week or two, to jump to more current messages.

I think if you log off or reset your phone cookies, you will also be sent to first post. In any case, as Essence pointed out, just press new posts at the top.
