I know this isn't the LL forum, but I had another though to just see what people thought. Heck, some 3rd party viewer may do it already. How about, a local folder, in your inventory. Call it "Local" for the sake of this explanation, but maybe it matches to a folder, say, "My Documents/Second...

Starting this off in the new Virtual Verse Forum with the newly released Animesh Update. Wohooo! Get the Viewer that dares to be different (a bit). Description: Blablabla, [insert PR nonsense], blabla it's the best Viewer ever. Blabla, [insert more PR nonsense]. Makes Second Life look good...
