Poor semi-homeless CC, or "Doh, you need to remove group contribution to get a Linden Home"

Now, I've been hemming and hawing about moving to Bellisseria, the new Linden Home contintent for weeks now. Reasons? Community! I've always wanted to live in the Blake or Bay City, but the Buy in! Anyway I opened up the Land selection page and saw and availability of both a Houseboat and Traditional. So I sez to myself: "No better time than now, most 'Muricans are in bed and Europeans are getting ready for work!"

So I went to work gathering up my house and stuff, and sending my KittyCat to the Cattery. Didn't take too long and I clicked the button to abandon. Yeah I thought about tiering up temporarily, moving and trying to sell the parcel, but figured it wouldn't sell.

So I go to the land page and selects the houseboat, and it says I don't have enough tier. I go "Whut?", I check my account status and it shows I have 1024. So I go back to the land page again and try again and DENIED. Then I think, wait, I donated my tier to group for the bonus with my premium alt. Doh! by the time I removed my tier from group for me and the alt and get back the land selection page, they only have Campers. CC Sadface.

The reason I'm only semi-homeless is I still have my Caledon Parcel.

Well, that didn't take long, I refreshed the page now and then and I managed to pick up a houseboat and the alt picked up a traditional about a bit later so I'm set. Now comes the hard part, the decorating and furnishing. I've got enough space outside at the traditional for a she-shed for my posestand. (I need a high ceiling for it. I've chosen the Wallower for my Houseboat and Winchester for the Traditional (yeah I know, everyone likes the Winchester)

People have done some pretty fun things with the houseboats. I had a good cam around to get a little inspiration. They’re quite roomy, so you may need a few larger furniture items to help make the space feel more intimate. I tend to start with an area rug of some kind to help re-define the floor space, then just see what works. Hope you have fun

Hey now, the Campers aren't so bad! The way the grounds are set up is very nice; you can see your neighbors but you're not right on top of each other. Nice choice of styles, I'm using the airstream because I'm obsessed with them in RL. Only using 175 prims was a challenge because I like lots of nick knacks, but it's a little refuge for when the beautiful place I'm renting goes belly up as mostly all the really nice themed places do. I like my little linden she-shed.

Thank you. I'm going to be doing some reading of the forums to see what others have done, and checking marketplace before I spend too much L$ on them. I do need a grill for the roof. I thought about enclosing it and have an enclosure for it... but am going to try it without it.

The Traditional has enough yard for the she-shed was I was using on the mainland. So my photostudio is set up, yay.

They aren't, I like them and their regions. Fun to drive around in my Mudskipper.

Yes, that's why I've kept a Linden Home or Mainland parcel even when I basically had full run of a Castle/Manor or had a nice Estate Manager parcel in a Private Estate. one of the reasons I grabbed a Belli Houseboat is that I adored the little New Orleans style houseboat I had in an Estate, and I missed it.

I like my little linden she-shed.

I should beg for a visit so I can object profile all your stuff!
