Can we somehow link this idea into the gacha craze?
Before I was kicked, I was told in IM: "You no pay money you no fuck". That's fair.Update: We went, the owner wasn't afk, and we got kicked out within 5 mins for not being customers. The place was kind of lame. Then again, it's not my fetish, so maybe I just don't understand.
I have been a DJ for seven years. None of the clubs I work in as a lot of furry traffic, although they are welcome. I have never been tipped by one of the furries who do come - and there have been some who are semi-regular and stay for extended periods of time.LM to these mythical places for furries with money?
I guess part of the fetish is having power to do whatever you want to the "victim"... those locations are like virtual roofie brothels.Have the customers heard of running two viewers at once?
I totally agree! I was content with just pixel humping when I first joined SL. ...but then became addicted to complex stories earlier on. Occasionally I'll feel like a senseless hookup, but the vast majority of what I do now has a story setup. As for the main topic: I cannot wholly grasp the AFK sex craze either, coming from a text based, RP background. It's not the animations that are important - to my mind anyway - it's the descriptive text. More than a basic one-liner but no need for writing out a flowery book either.
Admittedly, I'm in the category of non-tipping furry myself due to being broke AF in RL.I have been a DJ for seven years. None of the clubs I work in as a lot of furry traffic, although they are welcome. I have never been tipped by one of the furries who do come - and there have been some who are semi-regular and stay for extended periods of time.
I'm glad they enjoy the music. It would be really nice of them to toss some money in my tip jar.
Aka. scripting fun with Corrade?I am very tempted to put an avatar in one of those AFK places and do something random at random intervals if anyone uses it. Such as: pull out that fluffy dong thingie that sings and attach it to forehead of potential avatar. However, I bet prime trolling would be to say "I was here all along" after they are done. Or maybe swap between human and furry avatar suddenly ... okay, too many options here...
Good question but in theory they are still somewhat under player control and gather in spots for such activity plus you have people 'interacting' with them so I guess best comparison would be the one someone else made - old-school camping. I used to do it as I begun my adventure with SL back when Paypal was not an option and it only allowed credit cards instead of debit cards (side note: I will never get why some businesses consider credit cards more trustworthy as debit ones well ... can only go into overdraft - be it planned or not whilst you can potentially abuse a credit card to a bigger extent. Debit cards are also the 'main' account ones). Most spots I attended worked in same way those AFK ones do - your avatar sat on some object scripted with animations and did something trivial while sweeping the floor. Some indeed were bots but most were people just leaving their avatars idling for whatever time the script deemed necessary and you usually had to check back within a certain time frame to confirm you were still active.Aka. scripting fun with Corrade?
On a more seriuos not are afk-hosts considered bots? They are "avatars mostly controled by a program" after all ... ok the program is usually AV-Sitter
