This hit home. I was a good cashier before starting my career in analytics, but OH MY GOD did I get exhausted having to force a smile ALL FUCKING DAY. I say this even as someone who smiles more than appropriate because of a neurological tick. I can still only smile so damn much and say bullshit customer service scripts so much.

Let employees just do their jobs normally...

Will tell you how it goes. I usually put concentrated mushroom soup on bread and bake it in the oven with some cheese.

Gonna make two of those and a half batch of normal soup.

As soup it was passable but not the same. It also poured out of the can which was a dichotomy of nice and disappointing.

I fucked up the toast so I can't say, the cheese I used was bagged shredded, and it didn't melt properly.

It’s something from my childhood, 15-20 minutes in the oven.

Recently someone made fun of English beans on toast and I thought to myself, ‘I’ve never tried that’ so I did and it was a surprisingly good combo of depression chow and ready as fast as your toaster can toast bread. If I had a toaster oven I’d try that too.

Want to laugh and cry because it's true... lol. Rich fuckers who own a ton of stock are the most safe I think. Whether or not AI can do your job is a very different question than whether or not you might be laid off under the belief it can. ....or if this AI bubble bursts violently there will be a lot of pain to go around.
