Sony phones are pricy as hell, though, they don't seem to have an entry level or midrange at all.
I suppose that would have been their Xperia XA line of phones. I used to have a XA2 that I was quite happy with until the 32GB of internal memory ran out (many of the apps couldn't be transferred to the memory card).

The Xperia 10 is their new mid-range line now, I think. It costs more than the XA phones, though.

Well, Sony Mobile Phones doesn't seem to have any options below a grand. Looks like there was an Xperia 10 model released this year but it doesn't seem to be available in the USA. You can get an unlocked international version for ~$400 on Amazon, but Sony try pretty hard to hide that it even exists if you're browsing from the USA.

Well, the Sony Xperia 10 IV is currently on sale in the global sweatshop app for €299,-

Triple camera, dual SIM (nano SIM plus eSIM), 6GB RAM, 128GB internal memory, you can use a microSD card, 5G compatible, 5,000mAh battery, OLED display, USB-C and 3.5mm jack.

It's the predecessor of the Xperia 10 V. Unlike Samsung and Apple, Sony still sells smartphones that are older than a year.

I love their headphones, but gave up on Sony after my first adventure with their propriatory memory devices and jacks.
