.NET 5 Announced

Microsoft has announced that the next version of the .net core framework (which would have been version 4) will be rebranded as simply .NET 5. It will be out in late 2020, with ongoing preview builds before.

I am still not even up to speed on .net core as my web projects all use the standard .net 4.x framework, though I am familiar with it. I suppose I should finally start using core to prepare for the change.
