Oh Second Life, you always manage to both delight and horrify me in equal measure.

So recently, in the dark recesses of our Discord server, someone said that they made a new female avatar for the purposes of using it to make money in the AFK sex sims. I asked them to explain this to me as I could not quite wrap my head around what afk sex is (I was picturing some pervy idle clicker game , and wasn't far off). He explained the concept to me and dropped some landmarks on me with names like "Allure AFK Angels" and my personal favorite, "HOT DREAMS AFK FUCKTOYS".

So allegedly this is how these places work. You go there and somehow register to be an afk fucktoy as it were. You sit your avatar down on some piece of furniture or some other thing that contains sex animations, and you link up to a tip jar and then leave your avatar there. The patrons of these fine establishments then can join your avatar on the sex toaster or whatever other device you are parked on and control the animations to get down with your bad self. Then I guess they tip you when they've gotten off, and that's how you end up making money through afk sex. Seems way easier than djing.

After I explained all of this to Allison, she insisted we have to check them out for science. I'll report back as I was not going by myself.

The best part of visiting an AFK sim (just camming tho, please make sure your double click tp is off!!!)... , is actually watching the avi’s adjust their pose to look all ready for someone to ream one of their holes. Or seeing how someone’s been left and checking their tip jar and it’s still at 0L$!

I don't really see the appeal, tbh, avatars aren't that attractive and the text part always seemed like the most important bit of SL sex? (Not that it's a thing I do, so I could be wrong about that. I assume it's erotic roleplay? Imagine doing RP with an AFK avatar, it'd be shite.)

This are everywhere and its a little strange to encounter them wandering mainland because sometimes the girlds aren't just laying there, they are just in sex animation loops sans partners. This is also why I think LL needs to fix the animesh LI being at least 15 because if they got it under ten I tihnk animesh sexdoll brothels could overtake them, as especially in shared sims they can kind of hog all the avaliable avatars which is now great if you want to have a party once in a while, etc.

I need to ask a friend for recommendations but there are a number of them out there. Also, furries aren't cheap at all, but a lot of them are extremely picky and meticulous regarding their fetishes/things that appeal to them. I know there are furry strip clubs where people will drop thousands of Lindens on dancers just to show off how much of a player they are.

There was a DJ Alexa (an Alexa model in earphones) I ran into VRChat who played music by letting people yell into a speaker through their computer. It was probably legit since I told them to order Prime and it said they already had Prime.

I tried this out of curiosity and a desire to make money. I never made anything and went back to using stashed funds from one of my stores to outfit the alt out a bit, did some dancing, then went back to main accounts.
